I found this temperature Probe to be easy to setup, easy to use and accurate in its measurements! The supplied instructions were easy to follow and the operation range was more than enough if your actively cooking (strong signal 3 rooms away). So far I've found nothing with which to take issue. I highly recommend this Probe for any multitasking cookers who want to get the ideal temp while also working on other meal prep tasks.
I enjoy cooking all kinds of roasts, pork shoulders, turkeys and chickens in my vertical smoker and kamado grill. I have used digital probe thermometers for years. The ones I have use a probe on a cord that connects to the thermometer that sits outside of the smoker. This has worked well, but I have to regularly go to the smoker to check the temperature.
